If you close Pawns.app by clicking on the X button in the top right corner, the app will keep running. You can access it from the taskbar by right-clicking on the Pawns.app icon.

From here, you can restore the app’s main window or close it by using the Exit option.

If you are using Windows, you can also close Pawns.app through the Task Manager.

Find Task Manager on your computer. You can do this either through the Search feature or using the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Esc or Ctrl+Alt+Delete (and then select Task Manager from the list).

Switch to the Startup apps tab.

In the list of apps, find Pawns.app. Right-click on it and select Disable from the menu.

By doing this, you ensure the app doesn’t start with Windows.
